The Creative Exchange FAQs

What is The Creative Exchange?
Here at The Creative Exchange, the theme is “Your Camera in One Hand, Your Heart in the Other.”

So What Does This Mean?
The Creative Exchange is photography based.  You may post any photograph you wish, as long as it is one that was taken without a lot (or any) thought about the technical aspects of photography.  Something that simply comes from your heart.

Your photograph can be taken with any type of camera (camera phones included).  You may submit it SOOC (straight out of the camera), or do as little or as much editing as you wish.  It would be nice if in your post you explained why/how your heart was involved in the making of the photograph.  Many times, only one word explains everything.  Of course, this is not absolutely necessary, as so many photographs speak for themselves, and are many times best interpreted by the person viewing it.

Are There Any Rules?
Only three.
1.  What you post must be family friendly.

2.  You must link back here in your post.  You may either use The Creative Exchange button, or simply put a link in your post that leads back here.

3.  Just as you like to be visited by others, do try to visit at least a couple of others who have so kindly shared their work here.

When Can I Post Something?
On Monday morning of each week (1:00 am EST), there will be a spot here where you can link up.  The link will close on Friday evening (6:00 pm EST), and we will start again the following Monday.

How Many Can I Post?
You may post as many as you wish during the time the link is open.

How Do I Add Something to The Creative Exchange?
1.  Post to your blog, making sure to link back here in your post.

2.  Come back here to the Creative Exchange link to link up.  Be sure that the link you use goes directly to the post on your blog, by using the URL for that post (as opposed to your main blog URL).

What if I Have a Question That Has Not Been Answered Here?
Just e-mail me, or post your question in comments, and I will try to answer in the best way I can.

I truly look forward to seeing you here!
